Fitbit Inspire HR no longer shows me REM, Deep Sleep when tracking sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My newly purchased Fitbit Inspire HR no longer shows me “Sleep Stages” such as REM, Deep Sleep etc. when tracking sleep. It works only for the first 2 days but now it only shows me “Sleep Quality”. This has been so for the past few days even after I done a soft reset.

I have checked that my heart rate was consistently measured throughout the night and the insights indicated that I have more than 6 hours of sleep. Note that I have explicitly turn on “Begin Sleep” so that Fitbit is aware that I am going to sleep

Make sure your bluetooth connection hasn't dropped out. Mine sometimes doesn't reconnect if the phone has been out of bluetooth range for a brief period. Sleep Stages logged the next night when connected.

Exact same problem. It seems like this was right after I received notification of a new update, which I did.

For me I’d say this was my new device learning-curve. I’ve now All Day Sync applied with no issues since. My update went smooth and is rock solid 4 days on. I’ve measured and calibrated my stride length, now off auto too.

Hi,

My understanding is if you use the ‘Log begin sleep’ feature it will not show you stages but only the more basic sleep activity.  Same thing with logging in sleep times that got missed.  I think if you let it figure out your sleep onset on its own(by heart rate and movement) you will have more luck.  It’s weird, both my partner and I got Inspire HR at the same time and his logs his stages every single night whereas I’m lucky if I get stages twice a week. I think it’s because I’m a much lighter sleeper and am getting up a lot etc. In theory it should account for that but only about once a week on average. Hope this helps!

I have since been getting detailed sleep analysis after I stopped pressing "Begin Sleep Now".....

That was suggested to me by fitbit customer support, also. No logic involved, but whatever, I just want it to work. Will try that tonight.

I'm having the same issue. I've only had my Inspire HR for 3 weeks, it recorded my sleep stages the first night and hasn't done so since then. It also doesn't track my heart rate, I must be a zombie as I don't seem to have a beating heart! This is my first Fitbit and I'm far from impressed.
