I have a Fitbit Inspire HR which I purchased around 1/1/2020. It used to sync with my Macbook but no longer does. (It does sync with my iPhone). Last sync with Macbook was approx 2/2/2021. Googled problem - says I need a dongle for Macbook. Never needed a dongle before. I don't believe I have done any firmware updates. Do I need to and if so how?

Let me help you with this. Regardless of what you use to sync your tracker with, the most updated data should show in any place you access it (via the Fitbit app on your phone or the website on a computer). This could mean that you have it originally setup in one account and once you used your phone to sync you set it up on a different account. Make sure you are using the same email address on both the Mac computer and iPhone. If this isn't the issue then use a different browser to see your data like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
