Fitbit Inspire HR not tracking sleep

On my HR, the sleep option is darkened with "--" under the little sleep icon. Tracks fine on my app - have had this issue before and replaced the fitbit. A little upset as I paid quite a lot and not everything works. Any suggestions - or does anyone else have the same issue?

Let me help you with your sleep data not showing on your Inspire HR. The team is currently investigating this issue so hopefully they will find a solution soon. Still I would like to suggestion you manually log sleep on the app and sync your tracker to see if this helps resolve the issue.

I bought my inspire yesterday it’s not tracked my sleep at all and the icon on the fit bit is dark and 2 lines under it I don’t know wether to take it back?

Same problem. Got an Inspire HR and no sleep tracking. HR seems to work just fine though.

Similar issue for me - sleep stages been tracked once out of 8 days and have replaced one unit and problem still occurring. May be an app syncing issue..

I am having the same issue- two days this week my sleep has not been logged. My app isn’t giving the sleep score either, even after I add my sleep times manually.

I also tried rebooting the phone while turning Bluetooth off then back on since that worked with syncing issues I had on an earlier Fitbit, but no luck.

Two Fitbit Inspires in my house and the sleep function is intermittent on both. My daughter slept all day yesterday and it doesn’t register her sleep. On average since she got it in September she goes to sleep and it doesn’t register for 2 to 4 hours. Other days it doesn’t register anything

Same problem here.  I've had the device since Feb 2, 2020, i.e. 3 weeks. Sometimes the device doesn't track sleep and it doesn't show up on the iPhone app. Sometimes the device doesn't show sleep but it does show up on the phone app. Sometime the device also doesn't show exercise for days, but it does show up on the phone app. For a short time yesterday the sleep icon on the device was lit with sleep stats below it. Today the sleep icon is grey again with no stats, but the phone app shows sleep data.

 

I had a chat with support last week and jumped through all the restart, delete/readd device, etc. hoops, and nothing worked. I was told to set sleep sensitivity to "sensitive", which I did for one night. Then sleep stats showed up again on the phone but not the device. I reset sleep sensitivity to normal, sleep stats showed up on phone and, big surprise, the sleep icon on the phone was lit up the next day with stats. After the next night, the sleep icon is grey again with no stats, but sleep stats show up on the phone app.

I'm suspecting a hardware problem with the device.

I also have an apple watch and wear it too, and have its stats to compare with the Inspire HR.

Manually logging sleep does not work.

I have tried to be patient but have been waiting for 2 months now.   

This is not a way to treat customers.

I had the same experience with support, who mostly just suggested things I had already tried. They did suggest switching wrists so I did that- didn’t work for long. Mine was very intermittent, and would track sleep sometimes but not consistently. I have had it since July and had no problems at all until recently so it obviously isn’t something I’m doing/not doing. They said they were working on the issue but had no idea of how long it would be. I gave up and got an Apple Watch, which I LOVE. And am a little sad about, since I have had a Fitbit for years and years. I have also had problems with all the ones that were more than a pedometer.

I am a lot mad. My Fitbit is 2 months old. They have been promising a fix all the time.. They tell me now that it is past its 35 days when I could return it.

My Fitbit tracks the hours I sleep and when I'm awake and restless but doesn't give me a score. I've got the Premium subscription. Any suggestions?

Sorry, no suggestions. Mine does not track my sleep. I am not a happy Fitbit owner.

At the top of your Dashboard, click 'log' then 'sleep'.

So how long is this team going to take to fix this problem? Mine has not tracked sleep at all. You keep promising a fix. And now I am told it is past the warranty, balderdash, not an answer. Not, not, a happy Fitbit owner.
