Fitbit Inspire HR not working at all

It is a christmas present. It worked last night when we briefly turned it on. It has a charge, and is half “full”.

 

Now, however, it won’t turn on. There is no display. No vibration. Just a black screen. It’s a brick. We left it plugged into the charger to see if a full battery would help but it has not.

 

How do I fix this?

Let me help you with your unresponsive Inspire HR and thank you for charging it. Try restarting your device by following these instructions. If the device is charging try changing its clock face.

I called customer service they tried to do a factory reset. It did not work and nothing happened black screen. They are issuing a replacement.
