Fitbit Inspire not counting steps and not displaying on the app

My fitbit isn't showing how far I walked, isn't counting active minutes, isn't counting any steps, and is no longer calculating calories accurately on the fitbit and on the App. Any guidance?

I'm happy to share that my inspire is back to tracking my steps. I didn't get the smile icon, but my watch is* working. I wish I knew there was am issue last night because my sleep was not tracked 😔 at least I have an Idea how to troubleshoot in the future. Thank you

Perhaps it is "normal" activity as its happening with so many people. There is always something going on with the  bluetooth or tracking with the inspire.

My Fitbit HR Inspire has stopped tracking; I have followed all suggestions re restarting; the device updated itself and then I think the problem occurred. I have tried restarting my phone, i have turned bluetooth on and off ; nothing

Yesterday I logged over 10,600 steps and 57 active minutes. The app didn’t reflect that as a day of exercise. I followed the steps below and reset but the reset corrupted my hours from yesterday and today! It’s all off now! Help! Thanks.

I turned off Bluetooth and Location services, as described in the solutions. Then I turned the phone off and on, turned both services back on, and reset Inspire (by connecting it to the charger and my PC, holding in the button on the Inspire for at least 5 seconds and releasing).  Then when I took the Inspire off the charger and reattached to the charger, the Smiley face displayed.  But I did have to take it off the charger and reattach to see that face. Next, I checked the functions, with the Inspire on my wrist, and they all displayed, successfully. 

       When I encountered the issue with the Inspire, the functions were still displaying on my phone.  The Inspire just wasn’t responding to my finger touch.  Odd.  

        Everyone, thanks for documenting so carefully.  It helped, immensely.

This is a piece of junk. I have returned the device twice and now have been trying to get the third one to work. I have been asked to make a video of the problem which I absolutely am not going to spend time doing. I have no reason to believe that the next replacement will work any better than these three. I am done with Fitbit.

Turning off bluetooth and location did not work for me. 

 

I have an iphone SE running 12.4.1 os. 

 

I’ve tried rebooting phone and reinstalling app. 

 

My Phonak hearing aids conflict?

Hi,

Mine has stopped working, I've tried as you suggested & still not tracking. I've had itn3 weeks & this is the second reset I've had to do this week as it would not swipe the other day! Since then & the reset it hasn't logged anything! Right now it's a watch & that's all! Please help!

This “reset” method worked for me, thank you. My Fitbit inspire is now counting steps and movement again after not tracking anything for a few days.

Got a Fitbit 3 tracking everything apart from my steps done four day only showing one day showing on my watch but not on my phone

my fitbit stopped showing my steps so I restarted it as you suggested in this posting.  It worked for 6 steps then stopped again.  Any other suggestions?

I have done all of that but a smiley face doesn't appear, just the time again. I am having a lot of trouble with my Inspire HR and this is a replacement from Fitbit. It doesn't sync properly, won't update and now I can't see my steps on the watch. When I try to scroll nothing happens. I will be getting a new phone soon so I am hoping it will make a difference.

Make sure you are not logging steps manually; it seems to prefer actual
tracking or real time data gathering and if you add you may cover a period
of activity and its little brain cannot handle it. Mine works okay now

My FitBit Inspire HR just stopped counting my steps. Aside from that, the watch seems to be functioning normally. I tried restarting it as per the instructions on the website, but nothing changed. I tried restarting it again just now, and it is still not counting my steps. What should I do?

My Fitbit Inspire HR - new in December - has worked perfectly until today.  It appears to be synching with my cell phone, but it has counted "0" steps for the entire day.  I have followed your previous instruction and it is still not working.

As I have said many times before, I am done with Fitbit and Inspire. I have a wonderful device that is still working beautifully and cost 1/2 of what I paid for an Inspire which was replaced three times and still did not function properly.
