I have had this for 4 days and have never gotten it to sync. The touchscreen does nothing, and even when on the charger, all that is on the screen is the diamond and the phrase Fitbit.com/setup. My iPhone XR does not find the device for pairing.
I have done the soft restart several times but it does not appear to fix anything. I cannot do the factory reset, because I cannot get the screen to work to follow the instructions.
I am open to suggestions, or to get contact info.

Thank you for sharing this information with us. I really appreciate all the steps that you've done until now. Sorry to hear that your Fitbit is not connecting properly. Have you tried the steps here: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
If you have other Bluetooth devices connected on your iPhone, I'd recommend to remove them while setting it up.

I have done all of the things mentioned in the link. It is like the Fitbit is not producing a signal for my phone to connect to. What else can I try?
