Fitbit Inspire not showing my sleep patterns

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My inspire HR fitbit showed the sleep score for the first 2 days and after that, it only showed the sleep patterns. No info on score, light sleep, deep sleep, REM. The sleep tile on the fitbit is also not working - it doesn't reflect anything or even lights up when i scrolled down the screen to it!

I saw many negative feedbacks and complaints on the sleep tracker but i wonder if anyone in the fitbit support team even reads the feedback and attempt to fix this issue. I don't see any responses from the support team on the many feedbacks.

I also have an issue with the fitbit itself - the face doesn't light up sometimes when i want to check the time and it takes 2 or 3 attempts of lifting my wrist before it actually lights up to show the time. Wth??!!

I'm beginning to think that I've wasted my money buying this. So regret...

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @Daphne81, welcome.

Sorry you feel that way about your experience with Fitbit Inspire HR. Thanks for the feedback, it's very important to us to have your thoughts in regards our product and your customer support interactions. Fitbit is always trying to provide great products and customer experience.

Thanks for reporting the sleep and display issues with your Fitbit. There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you're still not getting your sleep information on the Fitbit App, please confirm that your Inspire HR has synced with your mobile or syncing device. You can also restart your Fitbit, this will reset the hardware of your Fitbit in case that something is not working correctly. If after doing so you don't get your sleep information or you keep having issues with the screen, please let me know.

Please keep me posted on the resolution.
