Fitbit Inspire screen broke after being in water

I was going to take a shower. 5 seconds after I turn the water on, I realize I still have my Fitbit on. I took my shower, got out, and noticed my Fitbit's touchscreen stopped working. It still displayed my stats, it still synced to my phone, but now I just can't use any apps on it. Does anyone know why this happened? I think it was from condensation from my Fitbit sitting on a shelf in the bathroom. Help would be much appreciated.

Hi @cenald  not sure what happened, but you need to get the Fitbit into a dry bowl of rice for about 48 hours. Don't charge it again until the condensation has been removed. Some people use a hair dryer to help speed up the drying process. Once that's done, clean all the connectors and charge it up, doing a restart of the device. Then you'll be able to figure what's going on.
