My Fitbit Inspire screen is black, the backlight doesn't work. The device is on (92%) battery but nothing on the screen.  The device was purchased in January 2020.

Hi, @Sunshine2790 , have you tried giving your Inspire a restart?  That’s usually the solution.  Instructions:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.

The most usual reason for this not working is not holding the button long enough (sometimes 5 secs is not long enough, so please try up to 30 seconds, or repeat the procedure.  Also make sure that there is good contact with the pins, as, by design, it will only restart if it is actually plugged in and charging

  1. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
