Fitbit app fails to connect to Internet when using ProtonVPN. All other apps work perfectly but Fitbit connects only with vpn disconnected. I contacted support and the individual basically said to not use the vpn. This is a non-answer. It's 2023 and a vpn is a standard security tool - not beta software. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks.

Hi, @GrayOne , I use a VPN sometimes and many features on all kinds of websites and apps are disrupted or fail. My particular VPN does not affect my Fitbit sync, so obviously this issue varies depending on the exact programming of your particular VPN and could very well be difficult for Fitbit to predict the effect of the many available VPNs, so I can understand their position.
When I cannot use a particular feature due to the VPN I temporarily turn it off. Seems like a good solution to me.
