Will there ever be an app so that I can I can set up my Fitbit using my Amazon 8HD tablet? I do not use Windows and have an old cell phone that is not compatible with the current Fitbit app. Right now, my Inspire 2 is no different than a packing peanut. I cannot get pass the "please install the app on your phone" message on the watch. You would think I should be able to see the time at least.

Hi @DaLy_SD the Fire tablet doesn't have a true Android system, so you can't get an app for it. Just Android 10 and up or iOS 14 and up are the minimum systems to get set up with the app. The time comes from the device used to set up, so unless and until it's set up, there is no time displayed.

I figured as much. Luckily my friend uses the Fitbit and I was able to activate my fitbit using her app.

Good friend you have @DaLy_SD . I have the same Fire tablet, too.
