Fitbit app not recording exercise properly after syncing with Inspire 2

Hi everyone,

My Fitbit app isn't recording / showing my exercises correctly after syncing with my Inspire 2. For instance, I did a walk on Saturday that was 15.39 miles and we were walking for just over 7 hours up some pretty steep and long hills. The steps on my Inspire 2 at the end of the day were over 30,000. However, when I synced my Inspire 2 to the app, the app showed steps of just over 17,000, that the walk had took just under 4 hours and we'd walked about 7 miles.

Another example is that if I've done a class at the gym, say bootcamp or HITT, for 45 minutes the app is breaking this down into several different forms of exercise all at different lengths of time and not recording the heart rate / intensity as shown on the Inspire 2.

Can anyone give me an idea of why this might be happening and what I can do to resolve it?

To be honest, I've had more issues with my Fitbit since they were bought out by Google than before. Fitbit was great before Google.
