Fitbit dead after one swim Inspire HR

I went for a swim 2 days ago and forgot to take off My Inpsire HR as it was over 75% charged then. After checking it in the evening 

, it completely discharged the battery and shut off. After restarting I got the smiley face.

The battery empties right after taking Fitbit of the charger.

I've done all the restarting, plugging in, cleaning of the pins yesterday over and over.

I left it in a bowl of rice overnight, put it back on the charger and still the same.  It just blinks at 1%, I See charging to 92% but then dead again.

please help
