Fitbit inspire 2 not tracking bike distance

So I recently got myself a Fitbit Inspire 2 to replace my broken charge. It fits and everything, but for some reason, it doesn't track distance when I'm out cycling, even when it says "connected." Or when it does, it tracks for a bit, then suddenly pauses and doesn't update. It's quite frustrating; anyone else had this problem? Because my Charge tracked fine but the connector broke (to Fitbit: start selling replacement parts), which is why I had to replace it.

Update: Pardon the double post but this also isn't working with my previous Fitbit Charge 4, it also isn't tracking the cycling distance even when I successfully connected before leaving.
