Fitbit inspire 2 replaced thank you but cannot fit new band

Part of the plastic cracked on my Fitbit inspire 2 and you kindly replaced the bead. However, I cannot get my new (steel) band to fit, I purchased new pins but they seem to be too big or too small. It’s very frustrating as I haven’t been able to use my new Fitbit for over two months! Please help

yours sincerely

Hi I had an inspire it ceased working. A few weeks out of guarantee. Got a new one bought metal strap to interchange . Daily wore rubber strap for fitness. Fitted metal strap wore one day fine but was aware it unclipped easily . So carefully clipped to hear ‘click ‘ wore out to dinner … gone ! Tried everything to contact Fitbit support. Tried tracker cud see it syncing up to a month later with random measures of 50 steps 300 steps  nothing for days then battery dead.  Nothing in terms of FITBIT SUPPORT HELP. So a inspire2 and fancy strap Waste if money due to poor design and no support . I believe should be recalled and refunded. No chat.  No help from e mails  I DESPAIR !! Hope you have better success.

Sent from my iPhone oh thank you and I hope so! That was so frustrating. I have heard nothing since from Fitbit support. They were fine about replacing the main part but it’s no good without a band! Those pins are so annoying, either too big or too small. And I don’t want an Apple Watch or a big obvious thing on my wrist. Poor customer care from Fitbit… 😕

Totally agree!
Wholeheartedly support your sentiments .
I was inspired to r mail again … I’m currently in Australia visiting daughter albeit loss of watch strap was in New Zealand. Where my son lives ….. So yesterday ‘fired up’s tried the 34hr chat THAT NEVER WORKS despite getting security code to activate🤦‍:female_sign: So changed setting to UK. I hadn’t noticed it defaults to USA .I sent another e mail and said. Awful Customer Service and your ‘Co out’ of referring to Forum is appalling and actually demonstrates other customer difficulties unresolved!
Surprise… with 1 hr a reply …. It said they will accept a call on this number ( I can send you) . So I replied I’m overseas. Can’t ring but DO WANT A HELPFUL RESPONSE .. others on forum do too. You should recall these straps as not fit for purpose and the metal strap was NOT INEXPENSIVE!
Will let you know if I have a reply or a resolution.
So forget chat line try email AGAIN ! Good luck and best wishes for Xmas
Regards Yvonne

Hi there and thanks for your reply, hope you are getting somewhere, I had
also bought a metal band when I bought my first Fitbit and I thought now is
the time to use it! I’m not surprised yours fell off as the pins I ordered
are far too thin. And the original pins are too thick! No help forthcoming
from ‘customer care’ I don’t think they will accept an email so if you have
a phone number..
I am like a dog with a bone now, it’s a simple request.
Enjoy your holiday! Best wishes, Brenda
