Fitbit inspire going crazy

Put Fitbit on charger. Now won’t start. Tried hard reset. Got smiley face once or twice. Today screen was going crazy scrolling and flashing for 20 secs or so then dead. Only 1% charged. Tried diff usb cable, power source. Nada. Zilch. 2 years old. Is it dead?
