Fitbit inspire, manual activity tracker / timer and pool length.

Hey, i just bought a fitbit inspire for my daughter. I simply can't find anything that it should be able to do.

How do I manually activate exercise tracker / timer? I want to be able to choose for myself whether it is running, cycling or swimming. I've just been on a moutin bike ride with my daughter, the watch has only automatically recorded 23 min of the 60 min we've been off.

It should also be able to measure swim distance, but I can't find a place where I can specify pool length.

Sorry, but most, or all, of what you mention is in the Exercise App which is available on the Inspire HR but not on the Inspire. The Inspire just relies on exercise auto-recognition of workouts and exercise type.  You might want to consider if you can return the Inspire and move up to the Inspire HR.
