Fitbit losing steps when syncing to phone.

I have 2 Fitbits.

A Charge 2 HR and an inspire HR.

I wore the Charge 2 until this morning then took it off and put the inspire HR on as I was taking the kids swimming.

Inspire synced and the 2000 ish steps transferred to to the Inspire.... All good so off we went swimming.

Anyway. Got back home After swimming and having a walk.

Had around 9600 steps. When phone connected to Wi-Fi the Fitbit synced.

Initially came up with 109 minutes active, 3.87 miles walked and 9600 steps. All went green as hit all goals and got notification to say I've hit step goal.

A little while later I checked the app again and it's gone back to 5588 steps done today 😔

The minutes active and miles walked have stayed the same but I've lost 4000 steps.

Any reason why it should do this???

I've lost nearly half my steps and I cant see why!!!!

Thanks

Joanne

Hey there @SunsetRunner! Welcome to the Fitbit Family! Smiley Happy

Thanks for the information that you have shared with me and for trying the option to use two devices in one account. In this case, I think that you need to make sure to sync each tracker after you have used them to keep your Dashboard updated. I'm not sure what happened with your steps but I'd like to see some screenshots of the information that you have in your Dashboard. Would you mind sharing some screenshots?

You can read more about it here: Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

Let me know if you have questions about this.
