Fitbit overestimate calories burned

Ok, so I want to know if anyone's having the same problem and also if you turn the hr thing off will the calories burned be lower because I'm cutting 500 calories a day but on a good day I'm reaching for them still... thank you. 😄 Also, I'd like to add that I already made sure my heart rate zones were normal and I put the option to my dominant hand.

Can you explain more why you think Fitbit is overestimating your calories burned?

You said " I'm cutting 500 calories a day but on a good day I'm reaching for them still".  I don't understand what that means.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I mean that on a good day when I’m not super hungry it’s hard for me to reach those calories that are set for me to lose a pound a week and that’s not usually the case with other programs such as myfitness pal and I just think it’s an overestimate so I turned off my hr option to see if it’s any more accurate.
