Fitbit recognizes 1 hour of active minutes, but only 17 min as aerobics.

Hello, as the title indicates the Smart Track recognized my aerobics class, but only counted 17 min of the hour. However, my calory counter shows high values lost withing that same hour of workout, so it recognized exercise. I tried changing the automatic workout duration time but it doesn't let me. How can I have the correct representation of the 1 hour class of aerobics?

Hi @DoraSantos91 Aerobic activity has tight criteria, so you probably only met that particular criteria for 17 minutes, even though it new you were being active. Assuming you have an Inspire HR (you cant do this on the Inspire), the best way around it is the use the 'workout' exercise shortcut to start and stop the activity and then once it has synced, change the name of the activity in the app.

Hello,

I tried using the running program through the fitbit device (exercise > run) and although it stored the data it doesn't let me change the type of exercise. Also, I do not have a "workout" option, I only have the "exercise" option, and inside I can only choose between run, bike, swim, treadmill, weights, and interval training. What can I do? And yes, I have an inspire HR, apologies.

Hello, can someone help me with this please? I am still facing issues :(. I may have to return the band since this problem is getting a bit on my nerves, and I don't want to be preoccupied or annoyed everytime I have a class.

You can change the choices available in your "exercise" option by logging into your account on the Fitbit web site and editing the six that are available on your tracker.  A generic "workout" option is available if you do that.

Hello!

You can do it through the app. Click on the bracelet icon on the top right of the initial screen, then click exercise shortcuts. You may drag some to the left, which will remove them, and then you can add more! I did this to add the workout short cut.
