Fitbit showing calories burned for future tuesday

I think I tried to log a workout last Tuesday when my fitbit flex stopped working and put it for this week (future), but then deleted it.   I just noticed today that it is saying I burned calories Tuesday July, 23.  I cannot figure out how to delete it and I do not see any exercises logged for that date.   I cannot replicate the issue on the website (just on my app).

Hi @Cloe284, thanks for getting back with those screenshots. You're right, it looks like it didn't update the information on the Fitbit app. Can you please force quit the app? You can also try to log out/in. This is not normal behavior.

I'm glad to see you here in the Forums, your comments are very important for us @Cloe284Woman Happy

Thanks for explaining what you did last Tuesday. I think that the value that you see on your Fitbit account is your estimated calorie burn for that day. We usually burn calories even if we have been sedentary and the Fitbit account gives an estimated number for those days too. It is estimated taking in count your calorie burn based on your age, gender, height and weight.

Fitbit devices have a finely tuned algorithm for step counting. Fitbit provides takes into account your BMR, the activity recorded by your tracker and any manually logged activities.

In your online Dashboard on the computer you can get more information and details about your calories and steps. Choose the option Log > Activities > Calories burned.

In case that you've logged in future activity, you will see it there. You can delete it by clicking or tapping on the trash can next to the "View Details" option.

Thank you. But as mentioned In my initial post, I cannot get the error to duplicate on the website.  I followed your directions to make sure I did it right before I asked for help, and it still doesn’t show up on the website but IS showing up on the app. 4A9E3B86-9F6A-4F23-8859-8F723D019A2D.png

THANK YOU! That was a lot easier to fix than I thought.  Force quitting did nothing but logging out and back in worked. 🥰.

On a different note, is there a thread started to suggest being able to tap on steps and delete them in the app without having to override with driving mode?
