Fitbit won’t turn on - brand new

Hi, I’ve just been given a Fitbit Inspire. Trying to set it up, it won’t turn on when tapped. And no, holding the button down for 5 seconds doesn’t work. My phone also couldn’t find it via Bluetooth. Help please!

Hi @Sylvbass It sounds as if it might be faulty. Return it to the store if was bought from or contact Support.

Thanks Nelly. If I press the big button on the side it says scrolls www.fitbit.com/setup but nothing else. Unfortunately it was a gift!

Same thing. Problem is the stores are closed during the Covid19 lockdown, and this is a gift. Not a great first Fitbit experience.  Thought it was just me being new at this.  Can't get it out of setup screen. ☹️

I encounter the same issues too. Then i realize the fitbit device is actually not compatible with the phone i use to pair it with (Samsung Note 10). So i try to pair it with another phone which as mention from their website as a compatible phone (iPhone 6S). And it works. I guess you will need to check the compatibility first. Thank you. I checked and my phone is compatible. The Fitbit doesn't come out of the setup message.
