Fixed heart rate issue on InspireHR but now text messages not coming through

I was having difficulty with my heart rate not showing up after a phone update (iPhoneX) but used the help topics to get that working again.  Now my text messages aren’t coming through. I’d almost prefer those coming through again and not have the pulse showing up! How do I get those to come through again? I’ve already tried various ways to fix through the other posts but haven’t been successful. Help!!

@CourtneyK34 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not getting notifications and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
