The Alta HR is easy to read with larger, vertical text. If the Inspire is replacing the Alta, the new tracker is unreadable to those of us who need glasses (but don't wear them all the time). Why no option to change the font? Can't use a tracker that's too hard to read.

Yes and I have discovered I can not sync with my Mac Book Pro - as it does not see the Inspire to set up the device - but I was using the Mac book for my alta for years !!! This is all going backwards pretty fast !!!!

I opened a Chat to see what fitbit had the largest size font for notifications. They said it is normal size. So I asked what text size an Alta has and they responded with normal size. All I need to know is what fitbit has the largest size font so I can rad a text from my phone. The A\lta was perfect. I had to return my new inspire as it was just useless to me.

Sad because I don't want all the other stuff on my Fitbit just the basics, I guess I'll have to carry my glasses for the next ten years until. This one dies out

Swiping up does not show the font for hear rate or steps any bigger, it shows a different icon that's bigger, but not the data that the OP is asking for - a more readable number.
