My screen has been frozen all day. All I can see is the clock and my calories burned. I can't switch screens or even options under the clock. It's not syncing to my phone either. Hoping you get an answer soon so I can get this fixed.

I just noticed today that mine was frozen.  I connected it to my computer via the dongle  and held in the button on the fit bit while I slowly counted to 8. I released the button and … the smiley face appeared and then the clock face and .... it swiped … YAY .... give yours another try.

My FitBit Inspire screen has frozen a few times. In the past, I just ignored it and it seemed to fix itself. I did as suggested and changed the clock face and it fixed the problem. I then immediately changed it back to my preferred clock face and it is working great!

This is a great solution when you don't have your charging cable handy.

Thank you for the fix!

I am now encountering the same issue. My Fitbit Inspire froze when walking across campus today. I just want to make sure I understand the fix:

1. Connect my phone to the app

2. Change the clock face

this should fix the issue? Can I change the clock-face back to the my preferred stetting?

No idea sorry. After about 2 days, it just came back on itself.

Thank you, this worked for me! My screen was frozen but the Fitbit was actually syncing and recording it just was not displaying.

How to fix your inspire is to put your Fitbit on the charger and hold the button for 5 seconds. If it doesn’t work, repeat until the screen turns dark and your able to use the functions on the Fitbit like scrolling.

5 or 6 seconds wouldn't work, but 8 sure did! Thank you!

I have reset my clockface twice, charged my fitbit to 100%, and restarted by holding the button for 8 seconds while it was charging. Still my screen is frozen, showing only calories burned. I can't swipe to see my steps or set a timer. With the advice previously given not working, what do you recommend next? It has been frozen for 3 days now.

Hi,

I had to do this a couple of times and it worked. and has since. Try pushing the button on the side a few times and see if that helps. Other than that I'm sorry I do not know what to suggest.
