GPS is not working with Inspire HR and phone

Hi could anyone help me. I cannot get my Fitbit to track GPS. I have tried rebooting it several times, uninstalling the app and reinstalling and allowing all permissions. Tried unpairing it from my phone and repairing it and still when I go into the exercise bit and click on any of the exercises it says "GPS will not be connected" and there is not option to change this. The phone GPS setting is also on on my actual Fitbit watch but still it says that GPS is not connected. My phone is a Huawei, don't know if this makes any difference to the app.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not getting a GPS signal for your activities and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > permissions and see all the options listed there) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
