Hello, I just received my Fitbit this morning and after I got it set up it said I have already burned 900+ calories. When clearly I just put the watch on. Is there a way for the calories burned to start at 0 and then grow as I walk/exercise during the day. I’m unable to tell how many calories I burn from my workouts because it’s already set at 900 for some reason. Please let me know. I have read articles about BMR and that Fitbit calculates it based off that but I don’t understand why it didn’t start at 0. Thank you

Hi @emhyland1 it's normal to see that when you set up. The day begins at midnight and your Fitbit knows you've been burning calories. It will take it a bit of time to get used to your activity level and calorie burn, but there is no way to set it to zero.
