Green Star on 2nd Fastest Mile Time

I’m trying to understand the meaning of the green bar with white star on pace splits on a run. Here’s the breakdown from my most recent run:

Lap 1 | 1.00 | 11’56”

Lap 2 | 1.00 | 10’51”

Lap 3 | 1.00 | 10’27” — green with star

Lap 4 | 1.00 | 10’03”

Why is the 2nd fastest mile given the star? Shouldn’t my last mile have it since it was the fastest? Does it have something to do with heart rate as well as speed? I have the Inspire HR.

Let me help you with you with your mile splits on your activity. This is odd as the best lap should get the star. Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure the app is up to date.
