Hello, I am new to all fitbit devices. I'm wondering if it's normal for the green light on my Inspire HR to stay on?

According to the user manual this is perfectly normal.

If it is like my Charge 2, that is probably the heart sensor (is it on the underside?).  If so, yes, it stays on, that's how it monitors your heart.

Yes, I have the same problem, and it is super annoying and I wonder if it drains my battery. I don't understand why the flash light has to stay on when I am not even using it. I hope I can turn it off.

This is sooooo annoying. Why can't I turn it off? I used to have a fitbit before this one, and I was able to turn it off. It is not the best for your skin.... considering returning it at this point...
