Has the new Inspire 2 update worked for you?

Any new updates on the recent firmware update? I have been waiting to download because of all the negative comments. Have the bugs been fixed yet?

I'm waiting too. The update I did two weeks ago completely bricked my Inspire 2. The replacement arrived this morning and the app has the update available. Not updating unless I know it won't brick the replacement tracker too.

Thanks for your response. I still haven’t updated, but may call Fitbit and
let them “walk me through “ the update. That way, if it fails, I’ll be in
the right place to get some help.

That sounds like a good idea. I'm leaving mine for now until I see whether they fix the update or not. Good luck. 🙂

I'm guessing no and I wish I had come here first before I updated. Of course, after I did the only two things I care about aren't working. Again. My sleep score and my heart rate. Of course, I also updated last night so I don't know if my exercise and my steps also aren't working. Seems every time I recharge the thing stuff gets turned off. Last night I did as told and put it on the charge and then updated. Big mistake. I was hoping it would remove that stupid water lock but instead it has messed everything up and now there is stuff I'm not sure if I would turn on or off. Just a mess. Do they really think I'm going to buy an Inspire 3 just because they messed up my Inspire 2? I want to dump this thing and go back to my Inspire HR. That worked.
