Since FitBit One is no longer available (although mine still works great), as a hedge against losing the One, I purchased an Inspire 2.
I took the watch bands off the Inspire 2 and set it up to use like the Fitbit One. I don’t want to use the Inspire 2 as a watch, because I prefer my Apple Watch for that purpose. (Forgive the blasphemy!)
I am carrying both devices (the One and the Inspire 2) in my pocket and both are connected to the FitBit app.
Exactly how the app resolves Step count differences is a mystery to me but of no consequences since they are usually within 5 to 10 steps of one another.
What is of concern is how the two devices account for “Floors.” Whatever the FitBit One records as the “Floor” count, it seems that the Inspire 2 zero’s it out when it is synced by the iPhone App. So I lose all my floor data!
I realize a solution is not to use the Inspire 2 until the time comes when it is needed as a replacement for the FitBit One. Could the be another solution?
Any ideas as to how I can retain Floor data and use both devices?

@ratcat I'm sorry, but there isn't a good solution. You really shouldn't wear two models at the same time.
