I bought my Inspire HR almost a year ago and began having issues almost immediately. It's difficult to describe because I haven't seen anyone else having this issue- but basically, my device will suddenly stop receiving text notifications. It won't vibrate or show the text, yet it still vibrates for other things, like calendar notifications. It requires a restart to start showing texts again, making me go out of my way to restart my device, which sometimes isn't a quick process because of how sensitive the magnets on the charger are.
I have been contacting Fitbit support for MONTHS, and every time they tell me the same thing, that they're "working on the issue". Yet nothing has been done after all this time. I would think that a company like Fitbit would care about its customers' experience with their devices, but I am extremely dissatisfied with my device and the lack of a response from Fitbit support.
I have asked about my device being replaced, which was refused. I've asked about a software update, which was refused. I don't know what to do anymore regarding this issue- I want to just get a different device completely, but that would be essentially throwing away the cost of the Inspire HR, which of course wasn't cheap. I just want a solution to my issue because it's become so frustrating. Sometimes this will happen 3-4 times a day, requiring multiple restarts.
Has anyone else had an experience like this with your device or with support? If anyone has any possible solutions, I'm all ears, however all of the troubleshooting ideas Fitbit has given me have not worked to fix my problem. I'm at the end of my rope with this.

I have had something similar. Usually when I tap the screen it remains black but sometimes a whiteish rectangle appears and then very strange markings, maybe parts of letters or numbers, dance around on the screen for a short while. Also I have great difficulty charging. The charger won’t stay fastened to the fitbit. I’m about ready to throw the thing away and go to another producer.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue, but I'm sorry you're having problems as well. It's been extremely frustrating and I wish Fitbit would be willing to replace devices for these types of issues instead of just ignoring them.
