Heart rate functions not working on the inspire HR

I just bought an Inspire HR but it seems like the heartrate functions are not working. I already checked in the settings on the watch itself and heartrate is turned on in the menu. I also tried resetting the device (deleted user data and reset the device by holding the button for 5 seconds whilst on the charger, I got the smiley face) but that hasn't helped either. Other functions on the device are functioning normally.

 

Does anyone know anything else I can do to solve this?

I got in touch with customer support and it turned out the device was malfunctioning. I'm receiving a new device to replace the malfunctioning one!
