My heart rate is not showing on my fit bit or on my app. This has been happening for four days. Any suggestions?

Hi, @Serchr , this suggests that your Fitbit is no longer “paired” to your phone. This must be done in the Fitbit app and not in your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Usually the easiest way to re-pair it is to re-set your notifications. If you need help with this please post again letting us know what sort of phone you use.

I'm also having this issue. To the point where I purchased a new one. Still the same problem. Have paired and unpaired 4 times.
This seems to have started for everyone around the 20th of June. Can we please get a fix or a solution.
Thank you

I am having the same problem. I have had basic sleep results for over a week now and realised it was because my heart rate wasn’t being recorded. I have reset the Fitbit but still not working. So frustrating as it has been fine up till then and nothing has changed in the way I am wearing it, or sleeping.

@DianeGM are the little green lights on your Fitbit flashing? You can also check whether the heartrate setting might have accidentally go turned off. If your Fitbit is the Inspire HR, from the clock screen please swipe down until you come to “settings”. Tap on settings and swipe up until you come to heartrate and make sure it is set to ON.
If it is set to ON and the green lights still aren’t flashing, then set to OFF. Wait a few moments and try switching back on again.

Hi, @Mrobert , the pair and unpair must be done through the Fitbit app and not in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
There actually isn’t any “pair” or “unpair” instruction in the Fitbit app, so the only way to prompt a pair is to force a notification turn on/ refresh. If you let us know what phone you use someone can give you instructions on how to do this.
Also be aware that if you sync with two different devices, e.g. a phone and iPad, or phone and tablet, or phone and computer, it will help to know this in order to troubleshoot your issue. As ever, the more information you give, the more likely you are to get a solution!

Oh wow, I can't believe it was that simple, thank you. I have always swiped down from the clock and didn't realise you got to settings by swiping up!! I'm hopeless with new technology. Thank you so much for the quick reply 😁

I have a Google Pixel 2 XL and have attempted to pair/unpair my device, restart my device (Inspire HR), turn heart rate off and then back on and it is still not tracking my heart rate or sleep. Very frustrating.

Hi, @Jfan87 , is it showing heartrate on the Fitbit but not on the phone, or is it not showing anything on device or phone? Are the green lights flashing?

Hi @Julia_G i have been having the same issue that my heart rate isn’t being monitored on my inspire 2 and hasn’t been since I got it a few days ago. I have tried all to the above instructions i.e. turned off and on the heart rate setting on my tracker and turned off and on my notifications in the Fitbit app. Still nothing has changed and I have never seen green lights flashing on my tracker since I got it. Please would you be able to give me a solution?
thanks!

Hi, @CharPlant , apologies for the late reply. Have you checked whether your Inspire 2 is set to clip mode? On clip mode the heart rate will be turned off.
To check this, from the clock screen press and hold both sides of the Fitbit to activate the “button”. From the next screen swipe up until you find the setting which allows you to tap to toggle from on clip to on wrist. Make sure it is set to on wrist in order to get the lights to flash and to see your heart rate. I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!
