Hi. Just got my fitbit inspire hr today. It's the first time I have used a Fitbit. However the heart rate is not working. The green light is flashing on the watch and heart rate is switched to on also. Have tried resetting but this hasn't worked. Can anyone help please ?

Same problem. When I follow directions nothing is where they say it should be. Can't find a way to make sure heart rate is turned on. Have tried using phone app and online dashboard.

Mine has stopped also. It worked for a day and a half. Now no HR.

My heart rate is currently working on the Fitbit itself but does not show the live heart rate feed in the phone application or the windows application at all. Everything is one how it should be. Just doesnt work. All Ive got is -- bpm

I had the same problem the first day with my new Inspire HR (am now on day 3). I read the instruction manual here: https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_inspire_hr_en_US.pdf
Trouble shooting on page 40 explains how to switch HR on and off - turns out it was turned off on mine! Now it works fine.

Heart rate also not working. I purchased on Sunday and it worked for a day or so. Did all the trouble shooting methods and googled the heck out of it. Very disappointing purchase so far. I will bring it back to stockist tomorrow to see if they can help.

Where did everybody purchase their fitbits from? I’m thinking possibly it could be the case of a faulty batch?

I have had my fitbit inspire HR for 2 days now and also my HR worked for the first half of day, then stopped, and it is turned on, not sure what to do at this point, is there any tech support number for fitbit help.

I have ended up sending mine back to the retailer. They will run some tests and hopefully I will get a replacement that works

Thank you for your effort in trying to solve this situation and for your feedback regarding Inspire HR. I kindly ask you to perform the following steps:
- Clear the data on your device:
1. On Inspire HR, open the Settings app > Clear User Data.
2. When prompted, press the screen for 3 seconds, then release. When Inspire HR vibrates and
you see the clock screen, your data is erased.
- Restart the tracker: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
- Turn the heart rate sensor off and then back on: Setting app > Heart Rate
@parzival91 welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! In order for live heart rate to show on the app, you should confirm the following:
- Make sure you have a compatible device: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?
- All day sync or 24hr sync should be turned on.
- Notifications should be activated: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I’ve got the same issue for a week since I got Inspire HR and your fix unfortunately didn’t help me (did it twice just to make sure).
During the last week it managed to take a heartbeat 4 times, three of which were when i took it off and wiped the sensor (even though there was nothing there) and got random readings like 125, 95 etc (when i was just resting). it showed them as ‘live’ heartbeat for some time and then disappeared. Also when I switch heartbeat OFF through Settings app the green light continues to flash (not sure it’s supposed to, but I’m new to this).

I’ve tried everything here so far and still no luck. Mine worked for the first 3 days then as the battery became low (20%) stopped monitoring my heart rate.
I’ve tried resetting the Fit Bit several times connected to the very fiddly and ridiculously short charging cable and only once managed to get the smiley face, leaving me to wonder if it has even reset.
I’ve tried cleaning the sensors though nothing appears to be on them, loosening and tightening the wrist band, moving the fit bit up and down my wrist, also tried it on my non dominant arm, updated my phone software to the latest version, logged in and out of my account within the app, removed and re-installed the app, again tried resetting the Fit bit, enabled location permanently even though I’d prefer to just have it active when using the app.
I’ve ran out of ideas 😕
An on and off button on the Fitbit might have been a better idea to be able to do a hard reset. Also within the Heart Beat section of the app there is no option to turn the heart beat monitoring off, only turning on and off heart rate custom zones which I’ve done anyway but it’s a vague way of knowing if you’re doing the right thing.
I am starting to think the device is faulty as nothing should be this complicated.

Inspire HR heart rate not working for me either. I got it to work for about 4 hours after a reset but then it stopped again and no amount of clearing data, resttinre, and reconnecting to the app has helped.

I just bought my Inspire HR device and am experiencing the same issue. The Heart Rate monitor is definitely set to ON, I've adjusted my strap, reset the device twice now too. No heart rate is displayed on the device or on the app. Very disappointing.
