Heart rate not working on Inspire HR

Hi. Just got my fitbit inspire hr today. It's the first time I have used a Fitbit. However the heart rate is not working. The green light is flashing on the watch and heart rate is switched to on also. Have tried resetting but this hasn't worked. Can anyone help please ?

My Inspire HR is like this too.  It's new today as my previous charge 2 broke.

Hi 🙂 The advice to scroll up to settings, tap and turn heart rate “on”, worked for me...

Thank you!  I went to p as he 40 as suggested, followed the steps and it worked.  Somehow the HR was turned off.

HR worked on mine for two days. Have tried to reset but nothing is working. HR is the main reason I bought this fitbit. Can anyone assist with this?

Click the side button.
Scroll down (up) through exercise, relax, timers to SETTINGS.
Tap. Scroll down past Phone GPS.
Then heart rate.
Check if it’s on. If not tap if from off to on.

Thank you for sharing that. I read page 40 of the manual and mine is now working. It was switched off in settings. I have spent a long time trying to get it working and was getting very frustrated 😊

I don’t see heart rate anywhere in the settings. Can someone say where it is step by step for the inspire hr?

I had the same problem. Now got solved it.

Tap on the Fitbit Screen > you will see the Time an Date

Scroll down till you reach SETTINGS

Tap on SETTING 

You can see first PHONE GPS

Scroll up then you can see HEART RATE - switch this on

I see your comment was 2 months ago - here's one thought - there's 2 flavors of these, "Inspire HR" and "Inspire".  The "HR" means, heartrate - the "Inspire" model is a bit cheaper & does not have heartbeat ability.  Could yours been just an "Inspire"?

Thank you, I was able to fix the heart rate tracking by changing the settings on the device itself!

Is it normal that I cannot even find the setting app? Nothing is where you say it is. This is so disappointing! heartbeat stopped after a week or my purchase.

The heartbeat setting cannot be fixed from the app. You must click the button on your Fitbit once. Swipe DOWN on the screen 5 times to get to the “Setting” screen. Tap “Setting”. Swipe UP once to get to “Heart rate”. Tap “Off” to change it to “On”. Now it will be fixed!

well, it finally did just start working - but what HAS stopped is the text
and phone notifications ... please stop me if I ever say I'll buy this
