Hi. Just got my fitbit inspire hr today. It's the first time I have used a Fitbit. However the heart rate is not working. The green light is flashing on the watch and heart rate is switched to on also. Have tried resetting but this hasn't worked. Can anyone help please ?

I definitely have an Inspire HR.

I believe you can change notification settings inside the app itself.

I'm surprised the Fitbit people haven't given this explanation of what to do. I bet it's what's wrong with everyone's. Knowing that you have to fix the problem on the actual Fitbit instead of on the app is key.

Hi. I was so excited to get and use the fitbit inspire hr only to discover that the bpm stopped working after a month or so. Please help.

Mine used to work but recently stopped. I get my resting HR only. Maybe it's a software issue?

I just got an inspire hr and had the same heart rate monitor issue that many of you have. I called customer support on Saturday and they said the heart rate monitor not working is a software issue and they are developing a patch. Hopefully its pushed out soon as its the main reason I got a Fitbit in the first place lol

I've tried resetting mine multiple times; it follows the signs of working RE: the manual but nope, still no BPM showing or recorded. Seems we're all having this crash around the same time; perhaps there's a bug & not enough staff around to fix it?

I got mine back in January from Macy's; seems like the glitch happened around the same time for many of us regardless of when/where the watch was purchased.

This worked for me. Thank you very much. Have been googling and reading the user manual for a week to try and figure out. Turns out heart rate tracking has been turned off on the device. Fitbit needs to provide clear instructions on this as quite a few users are having the same issue.

On Fitbit Inspire HR, slide to view Settings icon
Slide to find Heart Rate icon
Tap icon to turn Heart rate OFF
Go to Fitbit app
Go into your personal profile, tap Inspire HR, scroll down and tap Sync Now
Then on your Fitbit HR again, go to settings and turn heart rate ON
Go to Fitbit app, profile, and resync
A Fitbit agent helped me with this and it worked!

Same 😞 only bought it a week ago and like I’m seeing from lots of other people - worked for a few days then stopped! Very frustrating!
I’ve just emailed them to see what they say.
Hope yours gets sorted soon!

Thank you so much for that info. Mine was working when I first unboxed it but in playing around with the settings I must have accidently turned HR monitor off. It is back on and functioning as expected. Thanks again!!

I had tried all the solutions I found on the forum to fix the heart rate monitoring issue, but nothing worked. I finally opened the app on my phone (iOS) and removed the device. Then I set up device to communicate with my phone again. The heart rate monitor is working again. Hope this helps.
