Heart rate suddenly stopped working

My heart rate monitor stopped. The green LED stopped blinking on my Inspire HR.
Resetting did not work.

Disconnect / removed from the app / profile did nothing.

I ended up erasing all personal data from it and then it worked.

Everything was done, without success. I contacted Fitbit's customer service and got a quick answer. They sent me a new device.

Hello Monicastokkelan,

I purchased the Apple Watch and glad I did now, it works great with my iPhone. Not sure what to tell you on the Fitbit.

I have the Blaze and there is no "clearing user data" in the settings app on the device. Any ideas as to how I can get hr back?

I have tried the  suggestions given to get my heart rate monitor to start again. I did the settings suggestion and I did a hard reset on my devise. Neither worked. I have an Inspire HR that I’ve had for eight months. Also, my Fitbit won’t stay on long enough to go through more than two or three features at the most. Any help I can get to both problems would be great!

Thank you, I will. I’ve tried everything else, including completely deleting and reinstalling. Hard reset from my home PC. Wiping personal data from device. Resetting from device. No luck. I’ll try to call support on my lunch break today. Sigh

All my attempts to fix failed. Called customer service line. They were fast and helpful. A little more troubleshooting and they escalated as it would not fix. I’m now wait for free replacement- which is on the way. My unit was not even a year old, so no charge. I miss my Charge3. Back using my old AltaHR for now. Devoted FitBit user.😁

I can’t reach customer service via their phone line. Everything is
overwhelmed at this time, as I’m sure you know. I’ll keep trying to contact
them. Thanks for your advice. Stay safe and healthy.

How do you contact customer support?  I’ve looked everywhere for their phone number, email, etc.) and can’t find any direction to customer support. I’m so frustrated!

Mine is less than a year old, and also under an extended warranty. Please let me know how the heck you got in touch with them

I called months ago. Before the corona crisis. Maybe they aren’t taking
calls right now.
