My heart rate monitor stopped. The green LED stopped blinking on my Inspire HR.
Resetting did not work.
Disconnect / removed from the app / profile did nothing.
I ended up erasing all personal data from it and then it worked.

Thanks everyone who suggested calling Fitbit’s Customer Service for help on trying to get the Heart Rate monitor on my Fitbit to start working again. After trying every known way to fix my problem (which I already did before), none of which worked, she emailed me the link to get a replacement.

If it's not still under warranty, I would switch to Apple, only thing is that you need Apple phone also, but the new versa might be Ok , at least for a year or so, they are having this same issue with this versa, that I agree with Lisarunner, they should have to give customers a new one.
Hope everyone is safe from the coronavirus!

I tried clearing data on device. Forgetting data device and finding again and turning off my phone and turning back on all to no avail the heart rate will not work. Any other suggestions?

I can’t seem to find the “clear user content” settings. My heart rate monitor just stopped working and I can’t seem to get it back 😞

I’ve tried all of these and it didn’t work. Now with the reset, it’s no longer connecting with the app.

So that is essentially a factory reset right? Doesn't that wipe all of my personal data? Can i recover that?

I have performed the 15 second reboot and cleared my data and my heart monitor still doesn’t function, no lights are being emitted from the back of the watch.

After calling customer service they had me return my fitbit for a replacement. I am unfortunately still waiting 3 weeks later 😔
