My heart rate monitor stopped. The green LED stopped blinking on my Inspire HR.
Resetting did not work.
Disconnect / removed from the app / profile did nothing.
I ended up erasing all personal data from it and then it worked.

I had this issue and resolved it quickly. I went into the Fitbit, swiped to get to settings, then turned on the HR option. It seems to have reset that option from the update.

I just had the same experience with my Versa. It worked for my run Sat morn and Sat afternoon no heart rate. I can't get it to work. I've only had the device since Feb.

I went to try this and the settings app is no longer on my device. The phone app says it’s installed, but it’s not on the Versa. ???

Hi! I'm desperate... I've tried everything I've read in this forum and nothing worked : I made sure the heart rate was on in the settings on my device, cleared user data, reset my device, and deleting my device in the Fitbit app. None of this worked. Please help!

Hello folkgirl,
I am not sure there is a fix if it’s not under warranty. I myself decided to go ahead and get the Apple Watch being as I have an iPhone, I am glad that I did now because on the Fitbit I could see my text messages but with the Iwatch I am able to reply to email reply to text messages and even since I have a XS Max phone with iOS 13 I am able to use my watch as a phone if it’s close by. The only issue I hate is that I have to charge the Apple Watch about once a day if I use it very much.

I called customer service and they said they were working on a fix. I got frustrated after 6 months and called again. They sent me a new one. Call and insist. They can see it’s not working. They know it’s a programming problem. Be persistent.

re: You can resolve this by 'Clearing user data' found in the Settings app on the device.
Could you please tell me exactly where to find this option? I'm using an iphone 11, and a macbook.

I have the same problems:
heart rate lights not working
i have tried all of the following with no success:
1. cleared personal data
2. turned off and on multiple times
3. checked settings on tracker, heart rate on. Even turned off then on multiple times.
4. Removed tracker from app and reinstalled as new device
5. turned Bluetooth on and off multiple times.

Mine finally started working again, after doing all the things you mentioned, Calinate. Removed everything, re-installed, re-connected, etc. I also rubbed the contacts with my cotton shirt, made sure my 3 devices were sitting together, and performed some magic spells 🙂 Then I gave up, and a little while later I noticed it was tracking. I don't know why!

Yup there's no reason a customer should have to put up with that.
