Heart rate tracking

I've had my inspire HR less than 24 hours but my HR tracking just doesn't seem to work? It was working briefly when I first put it on but once taken off to fully charge it's been stuck at "-- bpm" all day and no change so far.

HR tracking IS enabled

device has been reset twice

device is not worn loosely

device has been unpaired and repaired and resynced with mobile app.

HR does not update from -- BPM however resting heart rate seems to still be showing (although it hasn't changed at all showing 60bpm constantly?)

Hello @Circa1965. and @JTKroods.

Thank you both for your replies!

@JTKroods That sounds very encouraging, thanks for sharing. I'm positive that it will continue working correctly without any hiccups. Do keep us posted on it, please.

@Circa1965 Let's go ahead and try the steps @JTKroods mentioned above. They seem to have done the trick for him so it means they are well wroth a try.

Feel free to let me know if there are any other questions or if I can be of assistance in any other way.

I had a similar problem when I first got mine. I restarted my phone, the app, and the device. I haven’t had any such problems since then. For anyone like me that does high intensity/insanity-style workouts, the Inspire tracks HR insanely well compared to the Alta HR, which I absolutely despised. Especially, after having two separate Altas die in the matter of a year. I was going to give up in FitBit altogether, but decided to give the Inspire one shot. I’ve been pleased- FitBit seems to have vastly improved with this new device.

Alas! Replacement fitbit has arrived and so far so good, I have yet to take it off but the heart rate is back on and is updating frequently!!

I am a bit disappointed that no troubleshooting seemed to help the first time but hopefully it stays.. working! Will keep you posted I guess
