For the second time, I have gone hiking (recorded the activity on the app). And heart rate data is not showing. This issue seems to be exclusive to the hike OR activity tracked originated in the app.
My cycle yesterday had no issue with tracking heart rates which was logged within the fit bit unit.
The first time this happened was a week ago and seems to be the same issue only on this activity or activities started from handset. (Android)
Yes I have restarted. Yes I have heartrate on in settings
Please advise!

@Alishamly I apologize if I misunderstand what you are saying. It sounds like you used a feature called MobileRun to record your hike. This is where you tap on the exercise tile > the stopwatch > tap on the stopwatch > track a hike. A problem showed up with MobileRun last October and the heart rate trace disappeared. I think the solution is for you to put Hike on the list of Exercise Shortcuts on your Inspire HR. Check out this Help article. There are many exercises from which to choose in the Exercise Shortcut list. You can put Hike on your list. Starting your hike from the exercise app will give you results that look like your bike ride.

Hi there, thanks for the reply.
Sort of. To be honest I'm not sure what MobileRun is. I open my app, and next to my weekly exercise overview there is a plus (+), I tap there then record my hike activity. (Attached screenshot). This is where the heart rate is missing despite recording with other activities and also being tracked on my wrist.
I can't seem to find any of the solutions offered in your link. They all appear to be for iOS. I'm on Android.
Tried it again today on a hike, still not working.

@Alishamly Your recent screenshot is the Android view of MobileRun. The missing heart rate data is a problem that showed up last October. I can't say when Fitbit will fix this.
To make sure you get your heart rate data, you should put Hike on your list of Exercise Shortcuts and track your hikes from the device, too.
I made mention of MobileRun because Fitbit has two features that are easily confused -- MobileRun and MobileTrack. Don't spend any time checking out MobileTrack. Most Android phones do not support MobileTrack.

T"make sure you get your heart rate data, you should put Hike on your list of Exercise Shortcuts and track your hikes from the device, too."
Any info on resources to do this for Android? Previous link was all iOS instructions and can't seem to find anyway to do this in app. Thanks.
