Hourly goals times won’t change

I’m trying to change my goals on hourly activity from 9-5. Like it always has been. Today for some reason it’s 6am-2am and will not allow me to change the time no matter what i do. (Already uninstalled and reinstalled, signed out and back in reset the device etc etc) . I don’t know if the time change in the US is bugging the app but please someone help

I’m having the same issue - started this morning (after the time change). My goal hours reset themselves and now won’t change back. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and reboot my phone.

Same with me. I am in the eastern time zone and my goal has been 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for years. Now is set for 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will not allow me to correct.  Appears to have put us all on pacific time.

 I’m super aggravated!

I have been making my hourly activity which I have always had set from 6am - 6pm, and meeting my step goal daily.

This morning, it decided to change to 3am - 3pm!! And since I haven’t been up walking every day at 3am, it took away all the days I had met my goal. When I try to reset it, it won’t change back. 🤦‍:female_sign:

My Fitbit Inspire 2 today - after the switch to Standard Time, apparently - changed the settings for my "Hours with 250+ Steps" Hourly Activity from 9AM-6PM to 5AM-1PM on the "front page screen" of the app (and earlier today it was 6-2 and is still that on the dedicated screen for Hours w 250+ Steps - so the info isn't even internally consistent). Every attempt to change the settings has been unsuccessful. The change (back) to 9-6 does not "take" when I tap Set Goals.  So, I'm in the same fix as you and the three other persons who've replied.  Glad to see it's not *me* alone, but this is an annoyance.  Google's takeover of FB has been lousy for us users (see, e.g., loss of streak data (and I was soooo close to 1000 days), discontinuing the "fireworks" if one hit one's goals during a day, disappearance of battery status on the app).  So many features we appreciated were summarily ended.

I am having the same issue. My hourly goal is always from 9 AM to 5 PM. It changed itself from 8 AM to 2 PM. The time on my tracker is correct that is not the problem. When I went to change it back to nine to five. It changed to 6 AM - 2pm. It won’t let me correct it. It keeps switching back to 6 AM to 2 PM every time I try to change it. I’m assuming this is a glitch due to the time change. Hope they fix it soon.

I cant figure out how to comment….but I am having the same problem setting the hourly goals which arbitrarily changed on me durning time change and I can’t get it to set back.  Have updated the ap.  Have switched to google.

FRUSTRATED!!! Mr Inspire 2 has done the same thing as all of the other's here. I have also tried to re-boot, re-install, delete, plug Fitbit in and re-booted, etc, etc, etc! I was able to change my times back to their original on my PC, but it still is not updating or syncing with my Fitbit of my iPhone app.
Perhaps someone is aware and already looking into this....

Same. I change it in settings but them it goes right back to 4 a.m. to 5 p.m. I am not going to get 250 steps at 4 or 5 a.m.!

I’m having the same issues AGAIN.  Everything everyone is mentioning is fact.  Seems every time daylight savings happen, my Fitbit fails.  I had to write to them every time.  I can’t remember how it was fixed, but what a pain.  I’ve had a Fitbit since 2016.  Why do I keep doing this to myself?

Mine switched from 7-7 to 4-4. I did all the things you suggested. Things have really gone downhill from the interface to this DST screwup since Google took over. Ready to change to a different tracker.

PLEASE READ: I was having the same issue. Been fussing with it all day. I’ve finally gotten it reset to the times I want, 9 am to 5 pm. I did this by spending about 2 minutes setting and resetting the times. I think the last thing I did was to move the start time to 12 pm and end time to 9 pm. I think mine is set correctly now. And BTW I hate the new format. Don’t like the way it tracks or reports sleep. It was much more user friendly before.

Ditto on super aggravated! I just put that same comment in the Fitbit feedback survey! I have the same issue today after the time change back to pacific standard time for me. It should be simple to change the start and stop times back to what I have had them set before the they randomly changed but they won’t save.

I am also in Pacific time zone with the same problem. Also I sit on the phone and get booted after a long wait. Ditto when in the online chat. After long wait get booted. So there’s no one to complain to?

I just checked the app again and, miraculously, the situation fixed itself. Must have been related to the change from DST. In any case, it's corrected with no action from me.

Yes mine seems to be working now too. With all of these issues it looks we are all going to have to change to to a different tracker!

I sure did find the glitch frustrating. I’ll keep my inspire 2 until it dies on me but I will not go for the premium. Not using the free trial much and now that I see how difficult it is to get hold of someone by chat or by phone, I’m leery of being trapped in one of those pricey subscriptions. The glitch WAS frustrating and I am glad it’s fixed as hourly activity, steps and sleep are my main drivers. However, I had talked myself into walking every hour anyway even if it wasn’t tracked, and to start using the tracker on my iPhone more. Finally, I realized how addicted I was to the tracking, and that’s a whole other story, eh?

Mine is finally working too, after fussing with the times again.

I completely agree with you! Everything you said is exactly how I feel. Happy to be back on track (visually) again, lol! 😂

I have been monitoring this thread for a fix and saw the latest posts about the hour activity goals working again. Mine is working again, too! I am so happy it didn't drag on for longer! 😊 What in the world did we do before technology?!
