As of now, it's not one of the exercise mode options for the app. However, calisthenics is something I always do, so I'd like to see it a mode on my app and device.

Hi, @AJisfit , calisthenics is one if the activities built in to the Fitbit database, but you cannot add it to the options on your wrist.
If you wish to track your calisthenics the way to do it is to track your activity as a “workout”. The built in workout activity is specifically designed so that you can use it to track any custom activity or any activity from the built in database.
Once you have tracked your “workout”, sync your Fitbit. Then it is simply a matter of clicking on the exercise icon, selecting your workout, then choosing “categorize exercise” (on the iOS app) or the edit pencil (Android app). In the search box begin typing “calis...” and calisthenics should immediately appear. Choose that and your activity will then be re-designated and you will see your stats for that activity.
It literally takes a few seconds.

That's my main question: How can I add an option that is not part of the default items?

Hi, @AJisfit , you cannot add it to the options on your wrist.
On your wrist you must track it as a “workout” and then you can re-categorize it from the app, so you have a record of your activity.
You will get exactly the same data that you would have got if it had been one of the default items. No change at all. The only (minor) inconvenience is that you will have to rename it in your app.
What are your concerns about doing that?
