Hi I have the inspire 2. Is there a way to brighten the clock face? It’s usually unreadable outdoors in any light. Is there a setting?
thank you very much 😊

Hi @NRGirl if you're under warranty, get with customer support. If you're out of warranty, there really isn't much you can do. As these devices get older and they've been in the sun, they do seem to get more dim with time. My Alta HR did it and all I could do was look at my phone app to see my stats.

My Fitbit inspire 2 is only just close to 2 year and I am a very gentle user. I hardly cam read the clock at all now. The LED quality is very poor.
is there anything I can do please?

I experiencing same issue now. Hardly able to read clock outdoor and indoor. Highly annoying. Not 2 years yet.
so should I upgrade to inspire 3 (Color’s screen) or versa 2 (bigger screen but OLED, same technology as inspire 2). Both similar price range.

Hi @JG00 actually there isn't anything you can do. I had the Alta HR, which was before the Inspire series. It got more time as time went by and ultimately couldn't see it. I got the Luxe, which is brighter and has given me no issues reading it in full sun. Sorry.

I have the same issue. Very frustrating that the display can only be seen inside a dim room.

Yes very frustrating. I scraped my inspired 2. No choice. Less than 2 years use. Not very reasonable.
I bought inspired 3. It’s good. If it gives me same issue later on, I will totally forget about Fitbit. Hope not.

After the battery failed,I've just had my fitbit inspire back from repair. Now it is very dim, much worse than before repair, any news?

On my Inspire 2, I tried that but did not see Dim Screen or Sleep when I scan down under Quick Settings. Where are they or how else can I access them.

This is also an accessibility issue, I would have to say that this product scores low on accessibility
--------
This is an accessibility issue, not a "nice to have". Granted I work in that space, developers doing the development work shouldn't be the ones doing the testing. They should do testing with people that don't have 20/20 vision and out in the sunlight. This is bad development/UX

I completely agree. Since my inspire 2 was repaired due to battery failure, my screen is unreadable unless in a low lit room. Useless outside. I now rely on the app. Very poor for partially sighted people.

I have exactly the same issue a great watch slim easy to wear all the functions I need, and then the issue I can’t read the screen outdoors and even indoors sometimes when the suns out such a shame, an update to resolve these issues would be very much appreciated.
