Hi I have the inspire 2. Is there a way to brighten the clock face? It’s usually unreadable outdoors in any light. Is there a setting?

thank you very much 😊

3 weeks, is not really "as my device got older"?

BTW I know 4 other people who had the same issue, as well as 100's on here

Buy another one?  not likely!

-----------------

because these are badly designed, totally flawed.... everyone knows it, but Fitbit don't want to replace 1000's of devices, even though is their fault....

suspect they will lose a few customers, but they don't seem to care.....

The is fix did not work on my Inspire 2. I can barely read the display inside.

This didn't work for me. The DIM is off and so is the Sleep mode. The clock face has gotten dimmer over time and is now even difficult to read indoors. Is therre an update to this issue?

I won’t buy another one either… can never see the time, no notifications…worthless

I agree. Never buy one again and if fitbit cared enough, they’d take care of it in newer models and send each of us one for free to promote it!!!

Same problem. I have to turn off the lights and be in a dark room to read the bloody thing. The suggested fix did not work. I have checked numerous times to make sure the Dim Screen and sleep mode are off. I like the slim design of the Inspire 2 but not sure what I will do now..It's almost useless. UNLESS Fit Bit comes thru with a proper fix.

Darn, I was hoping there was something other than making sure “dim” was off, which of course it is. Back to Apple Watch for me.

I stopped using this device because I couldn’t get it to be bright enough to see in the sunshine. Sorry.

Hi Michael

No one has ever given an answer! I had to stop using my Fitbit because of
it.
Bummer …

I think everyone tried this and it doesn’t help at all. I was hoping to go with Fitbit but I am going to get an Apple Watch instead. Now I know why this watch was on sale!

I gave up. I grabbed a Charge 5 while it was on sale. Time will tell it's better.

I also gave up and bought something else

It's a serious design flaw with the inspire 2

Yeah and Fitbit never has addressed it either. And that’s a company flaw. Why not promote a great improvement by offering something better targeting those of us that have brought up the issue over a year ago? But , no, nothing, nada. May I ask what you use? I’m using a Garmin Vivoactive HR.
Good luck,
Amy

I bought an inspire 3 - giving then one more chance. I prefer the slim design to the bulkier ones. So far so good. If this one has any issues I will switch to another brancd.

can’t believe the number of complaints about the fading display on the Inspire2. Mine only 12 months old and it is nearly ready for the bin.

Do try going into settings on the watch and Dim Screen Off. It did help a little.
