How do I pair my Inspire HR with my new phone

ANSWERED

I have just got a new phone & cannot get my inspire hr to pair with it. How do I delete it from my old phone? Or how do I put it in pairing mode to try again?

Any advice greatly appreciated 🙏

Hi there, @Hil5. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will be glad to help you with this!

It seems like your Inspire HR cannot connect properly to your new phone since you haven't yet forgotten the connection between your Inspire HR and the old phone's Bluetooth. With that said, try the steps below:

  • Unpair your Inspire HR from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Inspire HR again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Inspire HR.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire HR first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
