How do I turn of the silent alarms?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I have the Inspire set to wake me in the morning. But I can’t see how to turn off the alarm after I have woken it thinks that I have snoozed it and then it repeats the alarm.

How and I supposed to turn it off so it doesn’t repeat in a few minutes.

To dismiss the alarm, press the button. To snooze the alarm for 9 minutes, swipe
down. Snooze the alarm as many times as you want. Inspire automatically goes into snooze
mode if you ignore the alarm for more than 1 minute.

Ok thanks I will try that tomorrow

I pressed the button it still snoozes.

I press the button within the minute but it still does at least one nine minute snooze. I want it to only go off once. Help.

Quick tap the button TWO times. If you only press it once, then it will snooze. Press twice to dismiss the alarm.

I've quick-pressed twice and it still repeats. There should be some other way to actually dismiss it.

I have done all of the suggestions for turning it off and it still snoozes no matter how you do it.

Incredibly annoying "feature". I used to love the silent alarm on my old Fitbit, but on the Inspire2 it is less silent and keeps going off again and again.

An option to deactivate snooze all together would be ideal. What kind of psycho wants to snooze an alarm anyway? If I want to sleep in another 9 minutes I'll set the **ahem** alarm 9 minutes later.

Still didn't work.

What  button? There's no button on an inspire, it's smooth.

@hidihi23 Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

The Fitbit Inspire does have a button as you can see in the following image.

Maybe you have a different device but most Fitbit device do have at least one button. You can find instructions on how to handle Silent Alarms here.

Hope this helps.

Hi @AlvaroFitbit thanks for the image. my Fitbit is pictured below. there's a flat part on each side which must be a button! If I squeeze both together it goes to water lock. I will try this tomorrow when I'm woken at 6AM.

@hidihi23 yes the Inspire 2 has two buttons just like you said. Please do try pressing them when the alarms goes off so you can turn it off. You can also check this article to help you learn what you Inspire 2 can do.

I'll be around.

Hi Alvaro,

I am running into the same issue as the other folks here. I have an inspire 2 with the two smooth buttons on the side. When I push these buttons, it snoozes the alarm for 9 minutes. I can’t seem to get it to just dismiss the alarm.

@Bknun Welcome to the Fitbit Community!

Sorry to hear about this. Have you tried pressing the buttons repeatedly when the alarm goes off? I also suggest you tap the base of the screen a few times to wake up the screen and if you wish restart your tracker. Finally if the issue persists then try removing the alarms, save and sync then add them again (you can find the instructions in my previous post).

Hope this helps.
