How do you turn off the inspire 2 when not using?  Or is it supposed to stay on?

Hello @Oracle347 and welcome to the Community.  I'm sorry, but there's no way to turn off an Inspire 2.  This is true for many Fitbit models.  It stays on until the battery drains.
