How do a I turn off my Inspire?

I need to know how to turn off my inspire while I’m cutting grass, so it doesn’t record the bumpy ride across the pasture as steps. My inspire logged over 17,000 steps today and, well, I didn’t walk that much. 

Help!

Although some fitbit models can be turned off, the Inspire is not one of them. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1257.htm?Highlight=turn%20off

Your options would seem to be 1) take off the Inspire when mowing grass or 2) remove the steps afterwards by manually logging the driving activity for the same time period as documented in https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm?Highlight=delete
